Mrs. Laura Garcia
I am a resident of Rockwall and have been teaching theatre for 5 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Arts and Sciences from The University of North Texas and a Master's degree in Theatre Arts from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I am very excited to be a part of the Williams Middle School Wildcat team and am overjoyed to be giving back to my community as an educator. I believe that theatre is essential in educating students and helping them to build their skills in speech, analysis, reading, and writing.
Theatre can help students to be more prepared for a global world by introducing them to a diverse blend of theatre. Williams MS theatre offers 7th-grade theatre, 8th-grade theatre, and Advanced Theatre eligible to both 7th and 8th-grade students. In order to take advanced theatre you must audition and have previous theatre experience. Limited space is available for this class.
