Dobbs Elementary Student Wins 2nd Place in State Bus Art Contest, Earns Scholarship

Third grade student Marianne G. from Dobbs Elementary represented her school and Rockwall ISD well at the Texas Association of Pupil Transportation (TAPT) State Art Contest, earning second place in her division.

Marianne also earned a $100 scholarship prize for her award-winning art. Dobbs Elementary art teacher Enely Guevara was also recognized for her support in the arts and student achievement.

The TAPT State Art Contest is aimed at fostering school bus safety awareness through creative expression.
